RYT Productions 2016-17

2017 saw RYT performing across Richmondshire at nine different venues with five different productions.

Our productions ‘Fanatic’ and ‘The Drummer Boy’ were written by our past pupils Ben Lacey and Thomas Mann and the ‘Miners of Lead’ was written by a current pupils.  ‘We are Such Stuff as Memories are made On’ was written past pupils Christopher Smallman and Cordelia Stevenson with added scenes by our current members.    We also staged the musical production  ‘Olivia’ and the ‘RYT One Night Only Festival’.

Fanatic  – By Ben Lacey 

Performed February 2017 at the Georgian Theatre Royal

Performed across Richmondshire Between April and June 2017


This touring Production opened to a full house at Richmond Town hall and was  hosted by Mayor Russell Lord.  It then toured across Richmondshire.

“The opening night was amazing.  They were given a standing ovation.  Their performance left the audience with tears in their eyes”  –  The Vice Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Mr Peter Scrope
